Bob Townsend spent his early school years in different States due to hisstepfather’s job in the US Army. For the same reason, the family had torelocate after every 18 months on average which let Bob study in differentschools of Wyoming, Germany, Arizona, Utah and Oklahoma. Later in 1976, hebecame a high school graduate from the Broken Arrow School System. Bob’s thirstfor study brought him to Sheridan, Wyoming to attend college but after a shortperiod he moved back to Broken Arrow where he got married to Dana Townsend, a33 years old lady who also attended Broken Arrow School System.

Custom Services Inc., a company founded by Bob and Dana in 1980 has beendedicatedly providing air conditioning, heating, and energy management systemsto small, medium and large sized businesses. Their client’s list includes RDSManufacturing, Broken Arrow School System and Victoria Christian Center, Cityof Broken Arrow and many more.  For 7 years, Bob has served BigBrothers/Sisters and he is still an active part of it. With his wife Dana, theyattend church at Church on the Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma which keeps them intouch with their religion.

Bob also graduated from Victory Christian Centers and Victory BibleInstitute where he completed his Bible Training program. During his bibleschool, Bob served the Hispanic Ministry for one year as well. Later on, heassisted Tulsa Technology Study group with their research and developmentregarding Energy measurements and Management techniques of W. Edwards Deming,the father of modern Quality Management techniques. Bob has also representedtwice the Deming Study Group of Tulsa in Washington D.C at their meetings.These meetings were attended by distinguished consultants on Deming’smanagement techniques from all over the world.

Bob has excellent knowledge about Heating and Air conditioning, which causedhim to serve as an advisor on Tulsa Technology Air Conditioning board for threeyears. Despite of all other responsibilities, Custom Services has alwaysremained an important and major focus of Bob and family. Started with oneemployee in 1980, the company has now serving Oklahoma State with around 40hardworking employees. Besides this, Bob has successfully acquired/merged with12 other businesses related to Heating and Air Conditioning expanding hisbusiness roots more deep.
